IT’S TIME

In our first season at Hanami Volleyball Club, we are committed to getting to know our athletes and helping them grow.
After careful consideration, we believe the best fit for our inaugural season is to compete at the NCVA Premier level.

Premier teams focus on player development, exposure to higher levels of club volleyball, and building experience as we work to strengthen overall skills, team cohesion, and cultivate a vibrant culture at Hanami.

Our goal is to provide competitive opportunities for players while emphasizing high-quality reps—both in team settings and in specialized position-based practices.
We aim to prepare athletes to move up to higher competition levels in the near future, including participation in national qualifiers.

Level of play

what to expect

Practices:

  • Two 2-hour team practices per week

  • One 2-hour position-specific practice per week led by a specialized coach

Strength and Conditioning:

  • Twice a week, directly before or after team practices

Tournament Play:

  • All tournaments will be drivable (no flights required)

  • 13 total tournament days, including:

    • 7 days of NCVA Regional League Play (Sacramento, CA)

    • 3 days at Far Westerns (Reno, NV)

    • 3 days at Bay View Classic (Bay Area)

Club Dues

  • Premier League Registration

  • Far Westerns and Bay View Classic Tournament Fees

  • Additional Tournament and Membership Fees

  • Base Uniform Package (valued at $300)

  • Head and Assistant Coaches' Wages, Travel, and Lodging

  • Positional Coaches' Wages and Specialized Equipment

  • Court Rentals and Practice Equipment

  • Pay in full or

  • Installment Plan:

    • 5 payments of $610 (due the 1st of each month, October–February)

    • Final payment of $600 due March 1st

    • 7-day grace period for all payments

  • No deposit required!

    At Hanami, we are focused on growth and development. Whether your athlete has been playing for years or is just starting out in club, our coaching staff will meet them where they are and help them build the skills and confidence needed to thrive.

  • We encourage athletes to attend all scheduled practices to ensure consistent development and strong team cohesion.
    However, we understand that occasional conflicts happen. If an athlete needs to miss a session, we ask that families communicate with their coach in advance whenever possible.

  • We are committed to individual growth.
    If an athlete shows readiness for more advanced opportunities, we will work with the player and family to create a plan for continued challenge and development—whether that's additional training, expanded roles, or preparation for next season’s teams.

  • Tournament participation is a vital part of the club season experience. We ask that players prioritize tournament dates whenever possible.
    If you have a known conflict, please let us know as early as possible so we can plan accordingly.

  • No flights are required.
    All tournaments for the 2025–26 season are drivable, making travel manageable for families.
    Tournaments will be held in the greater Northern California region, and locally here in Reno.

  • We want Hanami to be as accessible as possible.

  • At Hanami Volleyball Club, we’re committed to delivering exceptional value for our families.
    Our 2025–26 club dues are thoughtfully designed to cover more than just the basics — including three weekly practices (two team practices and one position-specific session), twice-weekly strength and conditioning, tournament registrations, coaches’ travel costs, a premium uniform package, and facility rentals.

    While many comparable programs in our region end up costing $4,500–$5,500 or more per season once add-ons and strength training are included, we’re proud to offer a comprehensive, personalized training experience for $3,650 flat.
    Our goal is simple: to make high-level development accessible, affordable, and deeply impactful for every athlete who joins the Hanami family.
